The reports published in the CRIMSON indicate a probability that the Ad Board may have acted in some cases in a way the board intended specifically not to act. The board voted to put on probation men who contributed to the forcible obstruction of Dr. Leavitt with acts rather than in sympathy for the event.

The board was determined not to put on probation men who sympathized with, but did not participate in, the act of forcible obstruction.

The board would strongly hope that any students who have been placed on probation and who were not present in the corridor of Mallinckrodt petition the Ad Board for reconsideration of its action.
