Wrestlers Meet Yale, and Hope For Tiger Loss

The wrestling team enters the final weekend of its season still hoping to get a share of the Ivy League title. It can happen if the Crimson knocks off Yale at New Haven while Cornell upsets Princeton in the weekend's big match at Ithaca.

The chances of beating Yale are pretty good. The Bulldogs are 1-4 in the League and 1-8 overall. In their line-up they do have some fine wrestlers--particularly undefeated Tom McEwan at the 167-slot, and Don Joseph at 123.

Yale is Weak

But overall, Yale is weak. It lost to Princeton last Saturday, 32-7, as the Tigers kept on steaming to their confrontation with the Big Red.

It's all very reminiscent of the football season and its three-way tie. Only this time it is Princeton in the shoes Harvard had then. The wrestlers hope that analogy will be perfect on Saturday.
