George S. Waldo, a first-year student in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, was killed by a truck Tuesday night in Union Square, Somerville.
Somerville police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the 22-year-old student's death. The police report that Waldo was missed by a first truck, bounced off a second, and was crushed under the rear wheel of a third.
Waldo, of 68 Kirkland St. and Gainsville, Florida, was working towards a Master's Degree in English.
