Radcliffe's sailing team raced to a first-place finish in a six-team regatta held earlier this week at B.U.

The Cliffies piled up 65 points to capture the victory over sailors from M.I.T., B.U., Simmons. Mount Holyoke, and Regis. M.I.T. also compiled 65 points, but Radcliffe had defeated M.I.T. in seven of the 12 races and was a warded the win.

The regatta's high-point skipper was Radcliffe's Jane Chalmers, who ran up a total of 38 points. Miss Chalmers won four of her six races.

The other Radcliffe skippers, Lisa Fulweiler and Barbara Edwards, each won one race.
