Crimson Aims to Foil Yale Today In League Match at New Haven

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard's fencers take on Yale today in New Haven in a battle of Ivy League tailenders.

The competition should be close. Both teams are young but they have improved consistently over the season.

Yale has never before been a threat, Coach Edo Marion said yesterday, but this year they have a slight edge in experience. Yale's Ivy League record is not impressive at 0-4, but John Mayberg, a left-handed saberman, could create some trouble for the Crimson.

Ron Winfield, Harvard's only candidate for All-Ivy honors, may assure himself a first-team berth by winning all three of his bouts, Marion said.

The powerful Harvard freshman team, paced by Tom Keller and Larry Cetrulo, should have no trouble with the Bullpups.
