Bob Havern lit the light at 5:40 with Dave Cavanagh and Dennis Sullivan getting the assists. Sullivan scored his second goal four minutes later to put Harvard ahead. The clinching goal was off the stick of Nick Sullivan with Howie Sullivan and Red Jahacke getting the assists.
