The CRIMSON mistakenly reported yesterday that Winthrop House placed second to Quincy in the House Boxing Tournament, followed by Dudley in third. Eliot was actually the second-place winner, one point behind Quincy and two ahead of Winthrop.

Two of Eliot's three contestants won their bouts in the finals. Roger Guthrie decisioned Winthrop's Kid Grossman in the 130-pound class, and Andy Grainger was unopposed in winning the 135-pound class.

Eliot's third entry, Murry Turnbull, got his nose bloodied by Dudley's Gary Aronhalt and had to settle for second-place points.

The final scoring for the tournament, giving five points for a first-place and three for second, was: Quincy 14, Eliot 13, Winthrop 11, Dudley 10, Leverett 5, Adams 5, and Dunster 3.
