SAN FRANCISCO- A letter signed with the name of Bernardine Dohrn, a Weatherman leader on the FBI's most wanted list, threatened today a new wave of attacks on police and federal installations.
The letter to The Associated Press was a photocopy of a handwritten note lettered with a brush and ink.
"In retaliation for the commando raid and bombing of North Vietnam, attacks will be carried out on pigs, military and government buildings and agents without warning," the letter said.
"Brothers and sisters: keep away from ROTC; city, state and federal buildings; pig station and cars," it added.
On Oct. 6, a tape recording identified as being made by Miss Dohrn predicted a wave of bombings would begin shortly against "the enemy." A series of bombings later claimed by radical groups followed issuance of the tape.
