James S. Duesenberry. Maier Professor of Money and Banking, who served on President Johnson's Council, will debate Hendrik Houthakker. professor of Economics, who recently left President Nixon's Council after a two-year term.

In predicting the stands that the two economists will take. W. James Adams '69, tutor of economics in Mather House, said yesterday, 'There will probably be a strange reversal of roles with Houthakker attacking Nixon's policies while Duesenberry defends them. I expect that Houthakker, who recently left the Administration, will be able to shed new light on what Phase Two really means."
