HSA Fair to Sell Student Handicrafts

A two-day fair merchandising original crafts by University students will open December 10 in the Forbes Plaza Arcade at Holyoke Center.

Harvard Students Agencies (HSA) will sponsor the 20-table market from noon to 3 p.m. both days.

The fair coincides with the Christmas shopper influx to Harvard Square and "presents a good opportunity for Harvard-Radcliffe people to pick up some extra bread and exposure for their artistic ability," John Jenett '74, one of the fair coordinators, said yesterday.

All students participating must sign a sales contract. HSA will provide sales personnel and will return two-thirds of a pre-determined sales price to the artist.

"Nothing will be turned down unless it's illegal--like hashish cookies or something," Jenett said.
