Lenny while the Boston premiere of Julian Barry's play is a posthumous tribute to the stand-up comedy of Lenny Bruce, it also honors the alive and well talent of Al Franken. His performance stand out in Victor Budnick's fine production although the final scene proves once again there is no place for nudity in the theatre.
Demon at Sea The Lehman Hall version of the new 30's musical is delighted in every way, with six talented performance taking each Broadway cliché as far as it will go, which in this case is beyond dry land. There are plenty of surprises here and not one actor takes his clothes off. Patience The Gilbert & Sullivan Players milk this satire of 19th century aesthetes for all its considerable. But keep your eyes closed because the set and costumes aren't so hot.
