Water Polo Team Trounces Andover

The varsity water polo team destroyed an inexperienced Andover Squad 41-4, yesterday in Harvard's first exhibition game.

Dan Daiss the Crimson in scoring with nine goals, while freshman Graham White put in seven. Harvard's starters scored eight times in the first three minutes play before being replaced by the second team.

With Harvard leading, 15-2, after two periods the first team went back into the game to score 20 goals in the third quarter Substitutes tallied six times in the last period to make the final score, 41-4.

Capture Mike Graff was pleased with his team's performance after only two days of practice. "Usually when the score is that high players start seeking some personal glory," he said. "Instead, the team worked very well together -- passing for practice instead of taking easy shots.

Harvard plays us next match this Wednesday against Exeter Academy.
