B-School Ruggers Outlast Holy Cross

A penalty kick by Ali Manna allowed the Harvard Business School Ruggers first team to sneak past Holy Cross Saturday. The Business School's second squad wasn't so fortunate, dropping a 4-3 match against the Holy Cross second club.

The Ruggers had just returned from a 3-1 roadtrip to the Bahamas. The one-week tour was the first international excursion in Business School team's ten-year history.

The Ruggers got off to a slow start on their southern trip. Despite a strong Harvard rally in the second half highlighted by a 4-point try by Paul Beswick and two 3-point penalty kicks by Chris Rielly, the Bahamas National Side took a 16-10 victory.

The Business School rebounded, knocking off the top three Nassau Clubs--Arawack, Baillous and the Buccaneers--by 12-0, 9-6 and 18-3 margins.

Rielly garnered 18 points in the four games, making him Harvard's leading scorer for the tour.
