A Plan for CRR

In Progress

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A plan seems to be emerging from the mists on the future of the Committee on Rights and Responsibilities. After four months of confused student attempts to organize opposition to the CRR, the Committee on Houses and Undergraduate Life this week endorsed the formation of student and Faculty committees to study changes in the CRR.

The most likely scenario now is this: Dean Rosovsky will appoint a Faculty Council subcommittee to deal with CRR reform; the subcommittee will consult a student CRR committee and possibly endorse some changes in the CRR's structure; and the Faculty would then be fairly likely to approve some structural changes while keeping the Resolution on Rights and Responsibilities intact.
