Radcliffe lacrosse met up with a strong Princeton squad Saturday and came out on the wrong end of a 12-3 decision.

Gay Smith scored the only tally for Radcliffe in the first half, and the Tigers jumped to a 6-1 lead by halftime.

The situation was much the same in the second half with only Ann Johnson and Monique Burns denting the nets for Radcliffe.

"Princeton was really an excellent team, with good stick work," Radcliffe coach Molly Quinby said yesterday. "The defense did an excellent job to hold them to only 12 goals."

Princeton's attack featured All-American lacrosse player Emily Goodfellow, who netted six goals against the Crimson offense.
