Organizations Caucus

By Linda Novak

Representatives from four undergraduate organizations met yesterday to try to establish a student caucus which would serve as a coordinating body for all student groups currently operating on campus.

The meeting, which was called by the Educational Resources Group, included members of the Committee on Houses and Undergraduate Life (CHUL), the Committee on Undergraduate Education, (CUE), and the undergraduate Task Forces.

Frances M. Brodsky, '76, co-chairman of ERG, said yesterday that specific proposals discussed at the meeting included using the committee as a spokes group to give a more impressive expression of student views on university affairs, as a source of support for student projects, and as a "sounding board" for general student grievances.
