Kearns Ties the Knot

By Raymond I. Cal

Doris Kearns, associate professor of Government, will wed Richard Goodwin, a political writer and a former top aide to Presidents Kennedy and Johnson, Sunday at 2 p.m. in a private ceremony at their Lincoln, Mass. home.

Kearns and Goodwin will be married in an ecumenical service by the Rev. Michael Groden and Rabbi Summer Kaplan.

Richard E. Neustadt '42, professor of Government, was to have escorted the bride, but because of recent surgery he will be unable to attend, his wife said yesterday.

Goodwin said yesterday that 150 friends and relatives of the couple are expected to attend.
