To the Editors of The Crimson:
Your article regarding the bricks for the new dining hall at South House (January 5) might lead an unsuspecting reader to believe that if the bricks had been here in September the building would have been completed months ago. As one of your first articles of the year pointed out, at that time the dining hall wasn't much more than a large pit. Today it is still nowhere near ready for the bricks which have supposedly been holding up construction for four months.
The bricks are a pretty poor excuse on the part of the Construction Management Division, the Planning Office, or somebody. I would be curious to see if you could find out the real story behind this absurdness and get someone to say when and if it will ever be finished. Eric Cornwell '79
