CHICAGO--Alleged killer John Wayne Gacy yesterday told policemen they have all the bodies in what is apparently the largest mass murder in the country this century, The Chicago Tribune reports in this morning's edition.
Gacy confessed on December 21 that he had sexually molested and murdered 32 young men. He buried 27 of the bodies at his house in suburban Chicago and dumped the other five bodies in the Des Plaines River.
Gacy claimed fear of retaliation and possible extortion were his motives in the alleged murders, a police spokesmen who asked to remain unidentified said yesterday.
