Blood Drive Seeks Student Donations

By Jack A. Laschever

Organizers of the Harvard-Radcliffe Blood Drive are reminding students to "give blood, the gift of life" during the semi-annual event, which starts today and continues through December 7.

"Our aim in this drive is to increase our registration toatal and to boost the percentage who actually end up donating," Gail Gabler '81, chairman of the Harvard-Radcliffe Blood Drive Committee, said yesterday.

The committee plans to increase recruiting efforts for this drive by sending volunteers from door to door encourage donors, she said.

Students can sign up to give blood between November 7 and November 19 in House dining rooms and the Union. Student donations begin on November 29 and continue until December 7 in Memorial Hall.
