Marvelous Marvin Hagler of Brockton, Mass. disappointed his followers last night, as he drew with defending middleweight champ Vito Antuofermo. Antuofermo retains the title by virtue of the draw, but he offered Hagler a rematch.

Other incumbent champs were not as fortunate. Marvin Johnson wrested the WBA light-heavyweight crown from Victor Galindez on an 11th round TKO, and challenger Sugar Ray Leonard copped the welterweight crown with a TKO of defender Wilfred Benitez five seconds from the end of the fight.
