About 4700 undergraduates will flood Memorial Hall today to officially register for the last term of the 1970s.
Sophomores, juniors and seniors will be deluged by hundreds of handouts, flyers and pamphlets as they plod through traditional registration rites before racing off for a last weekend of freedom.
Margaret E. Law, registrar for the College, said yesterday it is difficult to predict exactly how many students will put in an appearance at Memorial Hall.
If the total number who will register is uncertain, however, there is no doubt that about 750 financially-truant students will come face-to-face with the "infamous red dot," Stephen W. Homer, director of student receivables, said yesterday.
Fuzzy
Homer said about 100 students went to the third floor of Holyoke Center yesterday to pay the balance of their bills, adding that the remainder would be rerouted to the Fiscal Services desk in Sanders Theater before they are allowed to register.
