Icemen Travel to RPI; Face Colgate Saturday

With Tuesday night's 5-2 victory over Boston University history, the Harvard hockey team travels to upstate New York this weekend for two difficult contests. Tonight, the icemen face RPI in Troy, New York, and tomorrow they'll bus up the road to Hamilton for a game with highly-regarded Colgate.

Crimson forward Greg Britz, injured at Northeastern last week, will remain out of action for at least this weekend, and probably longer. His linemates, Rob Burns and Shayne Kukulowicz, were split up for Tuesday's contest, Burns playing with Rick Benson and Gary Martin, and freshman Kukulowicz on a line with Dave Connors and Jay North.

Sophomore Scott Sangster, who bruised an ankle in practice and wore a protective guard Tuesday, will play this weekend.

RPI is coming off an 8-6 victory at New Hampshire Tuesday. The squad boasts a formidable attack, led by Jacques de St. Phaille and Michel Deschenes, and the defense is anchored by goaltender Kevin Constantine.

The Crimson returns home Wednesday night for a 7:30 p.m. contest against New Hampshire's Wildcats.

Harvard is currently 2-1 in the ECAC with the victory over the Terriers and a 5-3 decision over Brown offset by an 11-5 loss to Northeastern. 1980 HARVARD VARSITY HOCKEY STATISTICS INDIVIDUAL SCORING No.  Name  Pos.  GP  G  A  Pts.  PM  GW  Career Totals 5  Michael Watson  F  3  2  4  6  8  0  27-27-54 10  David Burke  F  3  3  2  5  2  0  27-33-60 16  Tom Murray  F  3  3  2  5  0  0  22-17-30 8  Greg Olson  F  3  2  3  5  2  0  18-14-32 6  Mark Fusco  D  3  1  3  4  4  0  13-20-33 12  Jim Turner  F  3  1  3  4  0  0  8-19-27 14  Phil Falcone  F  3  1  1  2  0  1  1-1-2 19  Greg Britz  F  2  1  1  2  2  1  0-6-15 4  Alan Litchfield  D  3  1  0  1  2  0  2-1-3 9  Rob Burns  F  3  0  1  1  2  0  4-11-15 17  Shavne Kukulowicz  F  3  0  1  1  4  0  0-1-1 22  Scott Sangster  D  3  0  1  1  0  0  0-3-3 11  Rick Benson  F  3  0  0  0  2  0  19-20-30 24  Gary Martin  F  3  0  0  0  4  0  0-0-0 15  Neil Sheehv  D  3  0  0  0  0  0  0-0-0 3  Bill Sztorc  D  3  0  0  0  0  0  0-0-0 23  Jav North  F  2  0  0  0  0  0  0-0-0 26  Bob Starbuck  D  2  0  0  0  0  0  0-0-0 25  Ken Code  D  1  0  0  0  0  0  0-0-0 7  Dave Connors  F  1  0  0  0  4  0  8-7-15 20  Derek Malmquist  F  1  0  0  0  0  0  3-6-9 27  Wade Lau  G  3  0  0  0  0  0  0-0-0
