House Chairmen

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Nine of the 12 House Committee chairmen polled yesterday refused to comment on the minority representation provision in the recently proposed Student Council constitution.

Several chairman who declined comment said they didn't know about details of the proposal, while others said they would not discuss the plan until they had met with their committees.

Three chairmen said they favor automatic minority seats to insure adequate minority representation.

Student Assembly President Leonard T. Mendonca '83 said he would hold a meeting with the chairmen in the near future to explain the provision.
