Robinson Hall was open for classes as usual yesterday with none of the complaints of stinging eyes or headaches that forced workers to close most of the building yesterday afternoon.
University officials said yesterday they remain unsure what caused the irritations, which first appeared in the basement and spread through the left half of the building during the late morning and early afternoon on Thursday.
"There is an abundance of theories, none definite," Eugene Arcand, a Buildings and Grounds spokesman, said yesterday.
It Came In
Arcand said that the University was "continuing to pursue what might have caused" the irritations. But he added, the possibility that the joystery will be resolved "gets less and less likely the longer it goes on."
