ROCHESTER, N.Y.--One hundred and twenty Black students from public and private institutions have formed a new organization in New York to act as a "united voice" for the 100,000 or so Black students in the state.

The Black Intercollegiate Association of Students, formed last month at Eisenhower College of the Rochester Institute of Technology, will respond to Reagan Administration actions. The Chronicle of Higher Education reported last week.

The association will also establish a statewide communication network among Black students, attempt to mobilize them into a voting bloc, and "demonstrate, if and when necessary."
