Sargent Kennedy Dies at 75

Sargent Kennedy, a Harvard administrator for 32 years, died last week in Stillman Infirmary after a brief illness. He was 75 years old.

A Cambridge native and life-long resident, Kennedy held a variety of posts within the University, including assistant dean of the College, registrar of College and secretary of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

He also served as secretary to the Corporation and Board of Overseers retiring from that dual post in 1971.

He is survived by a sister. Charlotte Gregorson, and four children.

Private services will be held.
