Stanford University's law school has adopted a policy prohibiting discrimination against homosexuals in admissions or in the school's educational programs.

Jamie Henderson, president of the Stanford Gay Law Students Association, said the policy would reassure those who might omit references that would reveal their sexual orientation in filling out applications to the law school.

Harvard and the University of Southern California's law schools have similar policies. The Chronicle of Higher Education
