Corporation Gets Slimey Treat

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Halloween night was as peaceful as any night in recent weeks or last Halloween, according to local police reports.

The only act of vandalism during the spooky night was the spraypainted message "slime" left on the door to the offices of the Harvard Corporation on 17 Quincy St., said Chief of Harvard University Police Paul E. Johnson. There are no suspects.

More University and Cambridge policemen were stationed in Harvard Square and the Yard during Halloween, but the usual number of policemen were on call, Johnson said.

Johnson said the "rather quiet evening" was due to the amount of "activities around to keep everybody busy."
