THE MOST IMPORTANT message to send to George Bush is that he needs real domestic policies. The staff editorial suggests that Republicans vote for Bush, but that doesn't let him know that he needs to change his ways. Instead, it sends him one clear message--stay the course. The country cannot afford a continued lack of presidential leadership in areas like education and social policy.

Pat Buchanan recognizes that Bush must put "America First," but he's not the answer. The Republican Party needs a candidate who has a vision of how to rebuild America. Republicans should vote for "none of the above," and induce other strong Republican candidates to enter the race.
