Original Dining Hall Recipe: If you mix orange juice and diet coke, you get most of the vitamin C with half the calories. Also, you get an interesting layered drink which changes color as you drink it and resembles the contents of a sep [separatory] funnel in organic chemistry.

Does he have one of those multi-colored clicker pens: I used to collect different kinds. There's ten-color pen, a four-color pen, and one which they sell at the Coop which has all sparkly colors. I had them all, but then I lost them.

How he's different from other pre-meds: That's terrible question. That's assuming that there is some kind of set pre-med personality and that's absolutely not true.

The weirdest thing he ever ate: I had curdled blood in Chinatown. It was really good. It tasted like crimson tofu. It curdles in clumps and they chop it into cubes and then pour scallions and oyster sauce over it.

Weirdest food he ever made himself: At home, I like to do stuff with tofu substitutes. I made an egg-beater omelette with tofu bacon, tofu sausage and fat-free cheese for my mother on Mother's Day. She thought it was delightful.

How he's changed since freshman year: Can I give a serious answer?

No, you have to give a peppy answer: I'm not a peppy person. I'm very somber and serious.

Serious answer: I've learned that just when you think you've figured someone out, they show all these complex sides of themselves and, whether you are repulsed or delighted, you end up marvelling at human nature.

Final question: Why are all the Japanese movies coming out today about salaried men committing sadistic acts?
