By Eric F. Brown

The Harvard men's basketball team fell to Colgate, 66-58, in Albany last night.

Tucker Neale and Adonal Foyle combined for 36 points to make the Red Raiders' home opener its first victory of the year.

Harvard's record falls to 3-4, with all four of its losses coming against teams from the Patriot League.

After falling behind 42-29 at halftime, the Crimson held the Red Raiders scoreless for 7:52 of second half to close the gap to 47-41.

Colgate, however, responded with an 11-3 run of its own to extend the margin to 61-48 with less than three minutes left to play.

Harvard's big guns in the point, junior Darren Rankin and sophomore Kyle Snowden, were held to a combined total of 1.3 points, thanks to Foyle. The star freshman had 12 boards and four blocks on the night.

Harvard also had difficulty shooting, going 1-17 on three pointers and 7-19 from the line.
