Give Women's Track Credit It Deserves

I would like to express my disappointment with The Crimson's coverage of the women's track and field meet held two weekends ago at the Gordon Indoor Track and Tennis Center. Not only did The Crimson neglect to cover the meet in Monday's sports section, but the coverage the meet received in the Dec. 9 paper is both cursory and wrong.

The women's track and field team did not lose to Boston College, but won quite decisively. The level of performance was exceptional, especially for this early stage in the season. The Crimson manages to provide exceptional coverage for other varsity sports. Accurate reporting for the track team is certainly not too much to ask. --Lee Shearer '99
