The Harvard ski team enjoyed it last snow party of the season this weekend, placing 14th out of 19 teams at the Middlebury Carnival, the sight of this year's Eastern Championships.

Vermont won the championships with 956 points, followed by Middlebury with 874 points and Dartmouth with 785 points, an order that has been repeated for the last couple of carnivals.

The Crimson managed 154 points on the weekend.

The alpine half of the Harvard team was led by strong performances from sophomore Catherine Chen and freshman Ryan Myers.

Chen led all Harvard women with a 54th place finish in the giant slalom in a time of 77.61 and took the same place in the slalom in a combined time of 1:54.45.

Myers, who has led the men's alpine team last weekend at Williams, registered a 59th place finish in the giant slalom in a time of 68.71.

In the Nordic events, sophomore Kate Damon again led Harvard with a strong 56th place finish in the 5K freestyle in 18:20.2.
