Courtney S. Blair ’19, a Dunster House senior, passed away Friday morning in a “heartbreaking” loss, Dean of the College Rakesh Khurana wrote in an email to students Friday evening.
In his email, Khurana wrote Blair was a “beloved member of the College community.”
“As a member of the Harvard College community and as a parent, I know that words cannot express the profound sense of loss that Courtney’s death brings to her family and friends,” he wrote.
Blair, an Economics concentrator, hailed from Atlanta, Georgia and worked at the Boston Consulting Group starting in 2017, according to her Facebook page.
Blair’s death drew numerous messages of support and mourning across social media.
In his email, Khurana wrote that “talking to family members, friends, or others close by can help” students process the “heartbreaking news.”
He also provided a list of resources on campus including the Chaplains Office and Harvard University Health Services.
