Crimson Jam, the annual concert organized by the Harvard College Events Board, returned to Harvard Yard on Friday evening. Marking the end of the first week of classes, the jam featured student openers and headliner Daya for a night of festivity and fun.
Students from across campus come to the yard to celebrate the start of a new school year at Crimson Jam. Following the student activities fair, the festivities began with dinner and a block party in the Old Yard.

After about 3 hours of student band performances, Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Daya takes to the stage.
With a voice that commands the stage, Daya lights up the night while performing a mix of original songs and features.
The Grammy-winning artist is best known for her 2015 debut single “Hide Away,” “Sit Still, Look Pretty,” and her feature on The Chainsmokers’ hit song, “Don’t Let Me Down.”
