The Kokkalis Program on Southeastern and East-Central Europe sponsored the address of H.E. Dr. Fatmir Sejdiu, president of Kosovo. Ongoing issues surrounding Kosovo’s 2008 declaration of independence continue to be an important topic in Europe and at the UN, and developments at the UN General Assembly as recently as last week show signs of progress in untangling Serbia and Kosovo’s complicated relationship to each other and to the EU.
