As more and more companies look to break into the coveted market of 18-to-22-year-olds, businesses are using college sudents to directly preach their gospels. Each year, brand ambassador programs attract thousands of eager college students looking to promote the “next big thing” at their respective institutions. Typically, students sign up for a flexible gig that provides cash, free swag, and a resume-boosting way to meet new people. In the process they also get to build up work experience and gain professional skills in marketing and brand development. It’s a smart strategy for companies as well.
