When you’ve been winning for 88 years, it’s hard to make a season stand out. As problems go, it’s a good one to have, but it’s the problem that the Harvard men’s swimming and diving team faced at the beginning of the 2017-2018 campaign.

Men's Swimming and Diving Claims Eight All-America Accolades at National Meet

All season, Harvard has risen to the occasion of high-stakes meets. This weekend was no different as the Crimson traveled to Minneapolis for the 2018 NCAA Championships and picked up eight All-America accolades en route to an 18th-place finish to close out its season. Six All-America honors from sophomore Dean Farris pushed Harvard to an 18th-place finish in the nation.

Men's Swimming and Diving Runs Away With Ivy Crown

The Crimson took no chances in making sure that history didn’t repeat itself at this year’s championship meet, held this week at DeNunzio Pool in Princeton, N.J. Harvard led from the first event and eclipsed the rest of the Ivy League to capture the Ancient Eight crown for the second year in a row and the 25th time overall.


Men's Swimming and Diving Closes Out Undefeated Regular Season

Harvard easily beat Yale, 242-111, and Princeton, 250-103, at Blodgett Pool. With the win, the Crimson closes out a second undefeated regular season in as many years and repeats as Ivy League Dual Meet champions.

Men's Swimming and Diving Wins Season's Final Home Meet

The Crimson took on Bryant and Rider on senior night and downed its opponents, 218-81 and 223-76, respectively. The victory sees the Crimson remain undefeated not just at home, but across all dual meets this season.


Men's Swimming and Diving Extends Win Streak against Penn

With Brown suspended indefinitely, the Crimson breezed past the Quakers, 181-108, to maintain its perfect mark in dual meets and extend its run of wins against Penn to 47 straight.

​Fresh off a winter training trip to Hawaii and in its first meet of the new year, the Harvard men’s swimming and diving team maintained its perfect dual meet record with a close 155-143 upset victory at No. 10 Arizona State.


Men's Swimming and Diving Compete in Separate Road Trips

For the Harvard men’s swimming and diving team, an early season tune-up offered much promise for the potential that this 2017-2018 team could reach. Several Harvard swimmers attended the Texas Invitational in Austin, Texas, while some divers attended the Georgia Invitational in Athens, Ga.

​The Harvard men’s swimming and diving squad entered Saturday’s meet against Cornell and Dartmouth with history on its side. The Crimson has only lost to the Big Red twice in its history, and the last time the Big Green topped Harvard was in 1972.
