Meet the Class of

2027

Each fall, The Crimson surveys freshmen about their backgrounds, academic aspirations, and lifestyles. Scroll through the interactive graphs and charts on the following pages for a visual representation of the Class of 2027.

Around 45.8 percent of students in the Class of 2027 completed The Crimson’s freshman survey, which was open from Aug. 21 until Sept. 23. The Crimson did not account for potential selection bias in its analysis of the survey results. Because of rounding, statistics may not total to 100 percent.

The Crimson also released a four-part overview of the data throughout the week. Part I of the series focused on admissions and the makeup of the class, Part II explored political beliefs, Part III examined academics and extracurriculars, and Part IV interrogated the class’ lifestyle trends.

The Crimson did not publish a freshman survey for the Class of 2026, so the most recent data for comparison is from the Class of 2025. The results of the survey of the Class of 2025 can be found here.
