Vantage Point MBA: How to Apply to an MBA Program in a Post-COVID World

The world has changed and the MBA application process is no different.

We’d like to say these are unprecedented times — and they are in many ways — but COVID-19 isn’t the first economic disruption to impact MBA programs. In fact, Meredith (my co-founder at Vantage Point MBA) and I applied to business school in 2008 and 2010, respectively, when the financial sector in which we both worked was crumbling. We were both fortunate to be accepted to our top choice MBA programs and we like to think we learned a thing or two about navigating through uncertainty. The current environment offers more questions than answers and while we wish we had a crystal ball, we’re going to share the next best thing: Vantage Point’s best tips, based on our time at business school as well as our experience advising hundreds of MBA hopefuls, for applying to MBA programs in the new world we live in.
