A.k.a. retired flyby designer roasts her past artwork…

Hi! It's Victoria, your resident retired Flyby x Design Exec (you might have seen my name in little red letters under many a graphic)!

I can’t think of much else to say besides that it’s been SO FUN designing for Flyby over the last year (TIL I drew 124 pieces and counting… omg!!), and this has been a trip down memory lane for me.

THE ~RULES~

I’ll be splitting my designs into four Flyby-inspired categories:

1. The flavorites✨

Reserved for the best of the best. countless hours (time when I should have been studying) spent working on it, but no regrets!

2. Flun to make!

Brings back good memories. It was cute, ig. Not much else to say.

3. Average

So meh, it doesn’t deserve a special pun name (also, I couldn’t think of any).

4. Epic flails

Unfortunately, there were quite a few genuinely embarrassing ones. Is it too late for a redo?

The finished product!

Some standouts✨

The housing market project was such a labor of love, and I am SO happy with how it turned out!!

Likewise, the Harvard-Yale special issue was super fun (plus cute puppies make everything better <3)

I think this one speaks for itself :)

My first ever graphic - not gonna lie, I’m cringing just looking at it, we’ve come a long way…

My personal pick for worst graphic of the year - these turkeys are the stuff of nightmares, and I wish I could take this back lol

For those of you wondering why there are <124 graphics… tiermaker.com was not happy with me entering so many images, so most of the housing market stuff besides the cover, one house cover (go lev!), and one neighborhood cover (go river east!) had to be left out :(

And that’s it! Looking back, a better name might have been Flyby wrapped 2025: 124 graphics made. Four special issues. Two amazing crimson boards. And of course, one silly article. Thanks for reading, and sending much flove <3
