The Personnel Office has decided to look for a new job within the University for Gertraude Schroder, the fiery organizer of the Harvard Employees Organizing Committee.

Schroder worked as a secretary in the Physics Department until last month, when she was suspended with pay following a complaint from William M. Preston, lecturer on Physics, about the quality of her work.

William N. Mullins, manager of employee relations, said this week that he has not yet found a new job for Schroder.

Mullins said the practice of relocating employees following complaints from their superiors is a frequent one at Harvard and that Schroder will suffer no reduction in pay when she comes back to work.
