Cornell reasserted its rowing ability Saturday when it defeated the Yale and Princeton university and freshman eights on Lake Cayuga. Yale lagged throughout the entire first race, with never a chance of winning. The battle between Cornell and Princeton, however, was close after the first eighth of a mile. At the final quarter-mile mark, Princeton was actually in the lead, but a moment of ragged rowing on the part of Princeton and a spurt by the Ithacan crew put Cornell across the line a half-length in the lead.
Yale was second in the 1919 race, the Princeton freshmen coming in a slow third.
