Tennis Trials Yesterday

Thirty men reported at the trials for the University tennis team at the Longwood Cicket Club yesterday. The following eight men were retained: F. J. Sulloway 2L., H. H. Whitman '09, R. N. Smithers '06, N. W. Niles '09, R. Grant, Jr., '06, G. H. Field '06, A. M. Harlow '07 and H. E. Straw 2L. The trials will continue this morning at the Longwood courts when the final selection of the team will probably be made in order to allow the pairs for doubles to practice together.
