IN a fifty-mile amateur go-as-you-please race, which came off on the Stamford Bridge Grounds, London, England, December 25, Firminger, L. A. C. H. H., won in the unprecedented time of 6 hr. 38 min. 41 sec. Dunning was only 130 yards behind when Firminger reached the tape; his time was 6 hr. 40 min. 30 sec.

THE Boston Driving and Athletic Association have finally decided to allow a bicycle track to be laid on their grounds. Work is rapidly progressing on the grounds destined for base-ball, cricket, &c.
