The plan is as follows : each class meeting and the championship meeting shall consist of the following nine events : -

I. 100-Yards.

II. 1/4 Mile Run.

III. 1-Mile Run.

IV. Running Broad Jump.

V. Running High Jump.

VI. 120-Yards Hurdles.

VII. 1-Mile Walk.

VIII. Throwing the Hammer.

IX. Putting the Weight.

There will also be included in the championship meeting two events, known as strangers' races, 1/2 mile and 220-yards, open to all members of the H. A. A., and likewise to members of the U. A. C., Boston Athletic and Driving Club, Union Boat Club, and Tufts College.

The class meetings will take place on the first four days of the week beginning May 17, at 4.15 P. M., and the championship meeting will be held on the following Saturday, May 22, at 2.30 P.M.

The entries in the class meetings will be, as at present, one dollar for each event, to be returned to all who cover the distance, and the championship will be free to the winner of each class event, and also to any contestant in the class meetings who shall equal the lowest record of any class winner. No other entries will be allowed.

All "walk over" to count.

Other members connected with the University may enter in the championship meeting under the same conditions as at present.

The prizes in each class meeting will be as follows : the winner in each event to have free entrance to the championship meeting; the second in each event, provided three or more men enter, to receive a cup suitably inscribed. Any winner of his class event winning the same event in the championship meeting shall receive a silver medal inscribed as "Champion of the University," otherwise he shall receive a bronze medal as "Champion of his Class." The bronze medals will be awarded to the class winners only on condition that they enter and cover the distance in the championship meeting.
