Mr. E. H. Blashfield, of New York, commences tonight, in Boylstyn 7, a series of lectures on the decorative painting of the Renaissance and its lesson for the present time. There will be five lectures in all, three of them coming on successive evenings of this week. Students who are especially fond of the fine arts will find here a chance to spend a delightful evening in company with a man who is a recognized authority on the subjects which he treats. On Wednesday and Thursday evenings the calendar does not offer so many events and more men will feel at liberty to attend Mr. Blashfield's lectures.
