It will be interesting to notice what success attends the effort which is being made to revive the game of lacrosse in the University. About ten years ago Harvard had a lacrosse team and stood well in the intercollegiate games in which she participated. But since then interest has been practically dead. It seems to us that there is really a place here for some game which can be played in the fall by men whose weight is too light for football. As it is, a great many men idle about the gymnasium in the afternoon who would be very glad of some kind of exercise which would afford more excitement than pulley-weights and dumb-bells. The game is one that keeps everyone in motion all the time and is particularly well suited for this season of the year.

We cannot say, however, that we should favor an attempt to arrange games with any but teams in this immediate vicinity. Intercollegiate contests, it seems to us, may well be confined to their present limits.
