WE understand that in our editorial on Memorial Hall, we misstated two things of which we had been misinformed and which we now wish to rectify. We were told that the Board of Directors had transferred this fall three club tables to the general tables, whereas it seems that last spring the Board had reserved three tables to be made general tables if necessary, but that it had not been found necessary to transfer them. We were also told that the Overseers had suggested that two more men be added to each club table, but the Board had refused to do so, stating reasons with which the Overseers concurred and subsequently withdrew their suggestions. We were wrongly informed on these questions, and it was far from our purpose to cast any reflection on the Board of Directors, which we firmly believe to be working for the satisfaction of the members of the hall and the Overseers.
